Sweet & Spicy Pork Jowl Bites

A cheeky alternative to the classic pork belly, these Sweet & Sour Pork Jowl Bites are a unique dish for your next cooking adventure.

What You Need
  • 2-3 packs Drake Meats Pork Jowls (can substitute pork belly)
  • 6 Jalapeno Peppers
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup Butter
Preparation
  1. Cut Drake Pork Jowls into 1″ squares
  2. Place cubes into an aluminum pan
  3. Slice Jalapenos (leave in membrane and seeds for a spicier experience)
  4. Coat Jowls and Peppers with brown sugar and drizzle of honey
  5. Slice up butter and scatter around pan
  6. Cover pan with foil and place in preheated oven at 250 degrees
  7. Cook for 1.5-2 hours or until fat on jowls renders and sugars are caramelized
