Fully-Loaded Smokies

Locked and LOADED, these Drake Smokies are stacked with Drake Bacon, caramelized onions, sauerkraut, dijon mustard, and gooey cheddar cheese.

What You’ll Need (serves 4):
  • 1 package Drake Original Smokies (can substitute Bacon & Cheese or Jalapeno & Cheese Smokies)
  • 1 package Drake Maple Bacon
  • 4 large hot dog buns
  • 1 cup saurkraut
  • 1 cup onions (sliced)
  • 4 cheddar cheese slices OR 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Grainy dijon mustard to taste
  • Fries (as side)
  1. Place smokies on grill on low heat
  2. In medium sauce pan, cook bacon and onions until onions are caramelized
  3. Set aside until smokies are done
  4. Place cooked smokies on large hot dog buns
  5. Top with carmelized onions, bacon, saurkraut, and grainy dijon mustard
  6. Coat each with cheddar cheese
  7. Broil in oven until cheese is melted. Serve on a bed of fries.
